1. Connecting to the HireHonest App

  • Overview: Recruiters start by establishing a secure connection to the HireHonest App, enabling them to access its background check services.
  • Process: To create this connection, recruiters may need to authenticate with HireHonest, typically using API keys, OAuth tokens, or login credentials specific to their HireHonest account. Once authenticated, this connection grants the recruiter access to HireHonest’s offerings and enables data transfer between the recruiter’s system and HireHonest.
  • Benefits: By connecting to the app, recruiters streamline the background check process and gain direct access to HireHonest’s background check services without leaving their primary recruitment platform.
2. Browsing Background Check Packages

  • Overview: With the connection established, recruiters can browse through various background check packages offered by HireHonest.
  • Details: HireHonest provides different packages tailored to various roles and industries, such as basic checks, criminal history, employment verification, and more comprehensive screenings. Recruiters can access a catalog of these packages, view detailed descriptions, and choose the package that best suits the needs of the job role they’re hiring for.
  • Benefits: This feature provides recruiters with flexibility and choice, allowing them to select background checks that match the level of scrutiny required for different positions, helping to ensure a suitable hiring process.
3. Creating an Assessment Order

  • Overview: Once a recruiter selects a package, they can create an assessment order, which initiates the background check process for a candidate.
  • Process: The recruiter selects the candidate’s profile and attaches the desired background check package to create the order. This request is then sent to HireHonest, which triggers the background check process. The assessment order contains specific details about the candidate, the type of background check required, and any customization options chosen by the recruiter.
  • Benefits: This streamlined ordering process minimizes manual effort, allowing recruiters to initiate checks directly from within their system, thus enhancing the workflow.
4. Receiving Status Updates

  • Overview: After an assessment order is submitted, HireHonest provides real-time status updates on the background check process.
  • Process: HireHonest sends notifications or status updates back to the recruiter’s system at different stages of the background check. These updates may include "Order Received," "In Progress," "Completed," or "Requires Additional Information." They provide visibility into the check’s progress and allow the recruiter to keep the candidate informed as needed.
